In mid 2009 we invited local artists to submit proposals for a series of exhibitions to be held in vacant commercial spaces. The brief was to develop a new work that embraced an essential idea they had not yet had the money or support to bring to fruition.

The result is a series of five exhibitions, in which each artist is self reflective of their practice to
date, projecting forward predominant tropes and concepts in order to actively self direct their practices.
